These wine actually smells of roses. This makes the wine wonderful for celebrating special occasions, and perfect for the decanter.
Barolo and Barbaresco can only be made in a few villages in the region of Piedmont; if your vineyard is not located in one of those villages, you can’t make Barolo or Barbaresco. But Nebbiolo is grown all over the region, not just in the villages that use it to create the high-end wines.
Taste: Aromas of cherry and violets are followed by red fruit flavors of strawberries, plums and red cherries. As it matures it develops a classic aroma of ‘tar and roses’ with notes of herbs, leather, wood smoke, mushrooms and truffles.

Acidity: High
Age: Nebbiolo can be drunk within three to four years but the finest wines, and those made in the traditional manner (aged in large old oak casks), need several years to develop and mature.

Nebbiolo, the noble wine of the fog, cause it is the last grape to be harvested by wine makers, after the fall fog rolls in, in NE Italy, The kit comes super packed up, arrived quick, and all the ingredients needed, just add water(I use filtered water). And I keep it at about 73 degrees for about 37 days, then bottle. I make several batches, so I can wait a few months to make the taste totally awesome, a full bodied, rich tasting, and the darkest red wine color, beautiful. If you like Cabs, both with high acidity and tanins, you'll love Nebbiolo.

My husband and I started ordering kits about a year ago and are very pleased with the service and quality of this product. Nebbiolo in particular has a vibrant but very smooth, refined taste that is balanced between dry and sweet. These juices are very high quality and make superb wine. We’ve been winemakers for years but this gives us a chance to buy a wider range of juices than what is available locally.
