About This Wine

Bordeaux Boarding Pass is just that, a dead ringer for an airplane boarding pass to western France’s wine region. It is like going on a trip to Bordeaux without leaving home.

The Breakdown of this kit is dominant Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, and 20% Cabernet Franc.

The BOR Boarding Pass Red Trio is an established and important variant on the classic Bordeaux blend, particularly on the Right Bank this vibrant deep garnet color. Enticing aromas of dark plums and cassis meld with those of nutmeg, tobacco, and sandalwood in a classically composed nose.

Grape juice concentrate (preserved with sulphur dioxide), liquid invert sugar, tartaric acid, malic acid, citric acid, tanin, ascorbic acid. Additives (included in Wine Kit) Packet A: Bentonite, Packet B: Potassium Metabisulphite, Packet C: Potassium Sorbate, Packet D: Clearing Agent (kieselsol/chitosane), Packet of Yeast.

Poor support

Kits seems fine, did not come with instructions. Got a barcode to scan for online instructions, did not work. Went to website to look up if there was a set on the site, could not find any. Used chat on site to ask, chat was a bot that couldn’t understand the question and I couldn’t get it to connect me to a live person either….so based on other kits I just winged it (not that complicated if you’ve done other kits but not sure what you’d do if it was your first). I had to guess how/when to use one ingredient that I haven’t used before (oak chips) for best results. Kind of crazy they can’t put a simple one page leaf of instructions in a $200 wine kit. Jury is out as to if the wine is any good been on for about a week so far.
