How to choose filter pads

Start by choosing the filtration grade listed on the product. The collection includes #1 Coarse, #2 Fine and #3 Sterile filter pads, so you can select the option that matches your process and equipment requirements.

Choose the pad format

• Round solid pads: Available in #1 Coarse, #2 Fine and #3 Sterile grades, with a 22 cm size.
• Drilled pads: Available in #1 Coarse, #2 Fine and #3 Sterile grades. The listed drilled pads include 19.8 cm x 19.8 cm formats and mini pads measuring 14.5 cm x 13.2 cm.
• Mini drilled pads: Offered in #1 Coarse, #2 Fine and #3 Sterile grades for setups that require the listed mini dimensions.
• Vin Papers filter pads: These come as a pack of 480 and measure 15 cm.

Check your filtering equipment before ordering to confirm whether it requires a round, solid, drilled or mini pad. For more equipment options, browse equipment for filtering. If you are preparing ingredients or liquid before filtration, straining bags may also be relevant. For moving liquid between vessels, see equipment for transferring.
