How to use

  1. Use one 5g Lalvin EC-1118 sachet for a 4.523L (16 US gallon) batch, following your recipe and fermentation instructions.
  2. For sparkling wine, use the yeast for primary fermentation or in-bottle secondary fermentation as directed by your recipe.
  3. To use B-Brite, dissolve the full 35g pack in 23L of warm water, equivalent to 15g per 1L. Wear gloves and eye protection, and do not mix it with other cleaners, especially ammonia.
  4. Use the B-Brite solution only on glass and stainless steel equipment, porcelain, ceramic and fibreglass. Do not use it on aluminum, soft plastic such as tubing, rubber such as stoppers, bungs, grommets and gaskets, or painted surfaces. Do not let the solution dry on surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then sanitize with a winemaking sanitizer before equipment touches juice or wine.
  5. Store unused products in a cool, dry place between 415C, with B-Brite sealed.

For bottling and finishing, pair your winemaking supplies with matching bottles, corks, labels, shrink caps and additional B-Brite cleaner from Crafted Series.
