Description: Sangria is a widely popular traditional Spanish drink that is served in homes, restaurants, and bars throughout Spain and more recently in other parts of the world. Sangria varies widely as you can use any red wine and fruit to make the drink. Traditionally, a dry red wine is used with chopped berries, nectarines, pineapple, or other fruits put into the wine. A splash of orange juice, sparkling water, or brandy is often added.

Taste: Lemon, blackberry, raspberry, orange, pineapple

Style: White Sangria- A punch traditionally made with dry white wine, chopped fruit, sparkling water or brandy.

Description: Sangria is a popular wine cocktail originating in Spain and traditionally made with red wine. However, since the popularity of the drink has spread, white wine Sangria has become popular as well. Chopped fruit such as berries, peaches, oranges, etc. are added to white wine, where you can then add orange juice, sparkling water, or brandy.

Profile: Dry to sweet, medium acidity, light to medium body

Taste: Depending on fruit used- cherry, tart citrus, berries, melon, etc.

Style: Fruit Wine

Description: Fruit wines can be made from a large variety of fruit and is made all over the world, especially in the United States in areas where wine grapes are hard to grow. Fruits that are often used are rhubarb, pineapple, raspberry, blackberry, cherry, strawberry and more. The winemaking process is very similar to that of traditional wine. These wines can be made dry or very sweet and range in color from light orange, to pink, to dark purple. Tannins are low, flavors typically do not include spices or minerality.
