These wine produced from the Gamay grape tends to exhibit characteristics that are very similar to that of Pinot Noir. Takes me to Beaujolais!

I have made this kit several times and had uniformly great results. This wine has great varietal character. I did not use the supplied yeast but subbed RC212. Also,. a couple of times I added used grape skins from a previous batch of another wine. I highly recommend this kit. I have recently started a batch of Crafted Series Heavy bodied Gamay. Also, Crafted series is the only supplier of this varietal.
